I cannot believe I've never though to review or check into this place! I've been working at LGA for two years now and I've been in this joint over 100 times and this is my first review. I could go on forever but let me just hit the main points of interest:

The staff here is unbelievable! My man Saul behind the counter works his tail off and feeds thousands of people a week from all over the world. The girls at the counter are sweet and always greet you with a smile and load you up with napkins and flatware.

The food is awesome especially when you consider this place is in a landmarked air terminal from the 50's. You wouldn't expect the quality of food to be as high as it is but it's superb. They have the full compliment of deli cold cuts (Boars Head), fresh made salads daily soups and a hot food bar with daily specials also. The hot food normally includes at least two proteins and two vegetables and a starch.   Also the owner of this fine establishment also own a couple pizza places in Queens so he brought an oven here also! Fresh pizza everyday around 1030am!!

The seating is great here with large tables and cushioned chairs. They also have two TVs on at all times with sound to occupy everyone's minds between their travels and shifts. It's also a great place to people watch as it's flooded with different people from all over the world daily. If you you're leaving or fly into Terminal A at LGA you MUST stop by for a bite or a drink. They have an ice bin full of beer and wine!

In all my comings and going of LaGuardia airport I had not had the opportunity to try it. The Yankee Clipper is located inside the Marine Terminal A of Jetblue. It's a big spacen a couple of tables, a variety of refrigerated drinks and snacks. The menu includes sanswiches using Boars Head meets and cheeses and also many breakfast options. Omelettes with a gazillion fixings, scrambled eggs, pancakes.

The 3 rating because pricey and the length of time it took for someone to ask me what wanted and there was no one else there.

I will give it another try.

The Yankee Clipper was a great find for us.  We ended up having some travel issues and wound up flying out of Terminal A in Laguardia.  It's an old fashioned deli style place, with great service and pretty tasty food.  We were here in the morning so got to eat some good warm breakfast food.  It's a made to order breakfast! We got pancakes with over easy eggs and bacon, which was very delicious.  We also had a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich(toasted bun) very good, and breakfast potatoes.  Coffee was decent too.

This place is nothing fancy, but fit our needs great.  If flying out of Terminal A this is your best choice for food, some of the better airport food I've ate.  We saw them getting lunch items prepared and those smelled excellent as well.  There wasn't much that looked good for dessert options though, but for good old fashioned warm food it'd be hard to pass this up.

What a hidden treasure this is.  Have to look for it!  This place is in the old A Terminal so if you need to enter the main doors.  Go straight and you'll find it.

Nothing fancy but well made breakfasts at reasonable prices.  Got two eggs, toast, potatoes, small coffee, AND a bottle of water for less than $8.  See what you get at the Delta gates?  Prepackaged and a lot more $$

Lots of tables, nice view, and a slower pace than expected at an airport.  I always eat here if I have the time.

Located in the ancient Marine Air Terminal (Delta Shuttle Terminal / Terminal A), they don't open until 7:00am, but the prices are very reasonable for the airport and my egg sandwiched ROCKED.

    Good stuff.
